Citrus rootstock breeding is important to improve their resistance diseases, pests and adverse environmental conditions. The majority of citrus species have nuceller embryony. Although Clementine mandarin monoembryonic, in some cases (intercrossing etc.) abortive seed formation can be seen frequently. In this study, × Carrizo citrange were crossed. the interspecies hybridization (Citrus Poncirus) was used. Embryo rescue technique used prevent loss hybrid individuals due formation. seeds gathered from crossed plants 80, 100, 120 days after pollination. immature embryos removed these transferred control, 0.5, 1.0 mg l-1 GA3 containing medium germination. highest germination rate with 100% observed media harvested Additionally, trifoliate seedlings obtained

The complete genome sequences of three related endogenous pararetroviruses (EPRVs) were obtained by 454 sequencing of nucleic acid extracts from Carrizo citrange, used as a citrus rootstock. Numerous homologous sequences have been found in the sweet orange genome. The new EPRVs are most closely related to petunia vein-clearing virus.
